Abstraction
The concept I came up for abstraction was 'the power of sound' which is how we can imagine what something looks like based off the sound. so for my final image it shows someone scrolling through TikTok when it switches to what they are imagining the sound looks like.
Creating the visuals was quite complex but also really fun to learn. For this project I had to learn to animate eyes and do some transition effects and I used ai to generate abstract art from visuals. I did have struggles with editing the speed of everything because once somethings off you have to move everything. Sometimes I would accidentally delete key frames or move/not move certain ones and it becomes a big mess.
My biggest struggle with this project was actually the ideation and coming up with a concept alot of things can be considered abstract so it was hard to just choose one thing.
Initial Idea
My initial idea was to show abstract visuals of how the brain processes images and sounds together and how we take then in and imagine them. for the first visual I mainly just chose some images to kinda show my ideas but it was more just filler

Adaptation
I adapted the feedback by creating my own abstract animations and generated ai animations using videos as references and creating a stronger visual effect. I also worked on the story line so it made more sense to the viewer
Feedback
The feedback that I received was the visuals are rather basic and that I needed to think of the story that I am telling with the visuals. They also said to think of making the visuals myself since the original was just a bunch of cut together visuals. They liked the core concept but Nils and Hendrik suggested tweaking it because the concept might be too hard to show or it wouldn't come across that way to someone else
